Who are we?
We are: Lauren Slade and Jack Marriott Founders of the Universal College of Reflexology
Lauren Slade
Reflexology has been Lauren’s passion since the early 80’s when it helped her overcome a severe health challenge.
Lauren is always exploring ways of passing this most effective, ancient healing art onto as many people as possible. She is constantly writing and updating the wide collection of eBooks, charts and Reflexology manuals that are used at the Universal College of Reflexology. Lauren also loves discovering and exploring different ways of integrating reflexology into every day healthcare, such as how Reflexology can be used for a wide variety of ailments from stress relief to pain management.
Lauren is also a Master Herbalist, Reiki Master / Teacher, Homeopath, Massage Therapist, Iridologist with additional training in many other holistic health modalities. Lauren has uniquely combined her vast knowledge from these various modalities to be able to integrate Reflexology with Aromatherapy, Reflexology with Herbalism and Reflexology with the Healing Power of Crystals and is pleased to provide this information in easy home study format. Teaching others how to have fun and heal themselves and their lives is one of Lauren’s main passions in life.
Jack Marriott
Jack Marriott is the Co-Principal & Registrar of the Universal College of Reflexology, and he bridges the gap between healing modalities and entrepreneurship.
Jack brings to the Universal College of Reflexology twenty-five years of management expertise having worked as a corporate executive at the highest levels of international business. Jack was a long-term director and past President of the Greater Vancouver Real Estate Board – Investment, Commercial & Industrial Division. Jack was one of the first Canadians to earn the prestigious Certified Shopping Centre Manager (CSM) Degree. He served as a faculty member with the International Council of Shopping Centres.
Jack has been active in volunteering his services and coaching sports throughout his entire life. He has served as a director and committee member on many boards in corporate, public, community, sports, and professional organizations and associations.
Jack integrates his business skills, coaching skills and vast knowledge of Reflexology together in a distinctive blend of educational programs, manuals, eBooks and eCourses.
